Control · Brand Builder field guide

A multi-location project map shows what your rollout spreadsheet hides.

Austin, Round Rock, and San Marcos sit on three different rows, so three site visits get planned separately. On a map, the waste is obvious. Brand Builder puts active restaurant projects on one geographic view and lets you open the dates, files, and next action behind each pin.

The mess this fixes

Where this breaks in real life

A location list can tell you that three restaurants are open projects. It does not show that they are forty minutes apart, waiting on the same kind of survey, and competing for the same regional contractor. The pattern stays hidden until travel is booked, schedules collide, or the same problem is solved three separate times.

The fix

What to change

Plot the active locations, filter to the market or status you care about, and open the pins that form a cluster. Compare the dates and blockers. Then coordinate the visit, contractor, or handoff across those restaurants while each decision stays attached to its own project.

Do it in this order

  1. 01

    Plot the live locations

Put the current restaurant openings on one map and leave prototype records out.

  2. 02

    Circle the cluster

Find nearby sites waiting on the same survey, access call, or contractor.

  3. 03

    Plan the shared work

Coordinate the trip or contractor, then keep each restaurant's decision on its own page.

What should be easier afterward

  • Nearby site visits can be planned together
  • Every pin opens the restaurant's dates, files, and next action
  • Unmapped addresses stay on a correction list

Questions people ask before using it

Does the map show every Brand Builder project?

It shows authorized, map-eligible location records. Prototype references are intentionally not counted as live openings.

What if an address cannot be mapped?

The project remains available in the list, while coordinate coverage makes the mapping gap visible for correction.
